We offer the largest selection of photobooths in town and bring years of experience to every event. We're flexible with timelines, perform well under pressure, and include custom graphics at no extra cost. Plus, we offer a wide variety of backgrounds to suit any event style.

It's simple. Guests tap the screen to begin, choose between an animated GIF or still photos, and our system applies your custom graphic overlay. The photos are sent instantly to the user, and the event organizer receives the full gallery the following day.

Yes, it works without wifi, but a strong wifi signal is ideal so guests can get instant sharing. If there's no wifi, everything gets saved to the hard drive and will start sending out once Instabooth makes it back to our studio and connects to our wifi.
We prefer the venue's actual wifi connection because the free TbayTel wifi tends to drop out during events. Most halls in town have wifi we can connect to the only tricky spots are some of the barn-style venues, but even they're starting to look into Starlink!

Nope! Instabooth does photos, GIFs, and boomerangs.
All options available to guests right on the screen. We've got a rapid-fire GIF option that snaps 4 photos in a row and slams them into a fun 4-frame GIF (but you gotta move fast!), a timed GIF option with a countdown between shots to give you setup time, a boomerang that shoots a 2-second clip playing forwards then backwards, and of course the classic single-frame photo.

The more notice the better, but honestly, we've pulled off events the same day we got the call. We thrive under pressure.
We have 6 booths, so we can usually make any timeline work. That said, booking early means you get first pick of backdrops, which matters if there are multiple events on the same day.

Absolutely! We pride ourselves on finding solutions to make pretty much any event work. There's a small fee for the extended timeline. The best option for remote events is usually our self-setup package.
Instabooth doesn't take up much room if you need to put it on a plane, and since we have 6 booths, we have the flexibility for an extended pickup and return timeline.

Short answer YES! It works best under a tent or awning to avoid weather issues. Backdrops can be tricky in tents because they're just shy of 8ft tall, so our standard ones don't always fit. We do have a gold and white option and a gold and black option that work for outdoor tent events.
However, If it's really hot and sunny without shade, the screen can be hard to see and the booth can overheat. Reach out with your specific venue details and we can give you a better answer.

We need a power source nearby (we also carry 100ft extension cords just in case), a reliable wifi signal with the password to connect, and about 8 square feet of space for the backdrop and booth setup. Oh, and a small table for props!

We keep it simple $650 for the whole night. We set up before the reception and tear down after last call.
No hourly rates, no clock watching, no dragging the booth away from drunk wedding guests at midnight because it was only booked for 4 hours. Your guests get to enjoy Instabooth TBay ALL NIGHT LONG!

We offer a discounted rate of $375 for school events.
Whether it's a dance-a-thon, a formal, or a graduation party, we try to keep costs lower because every school deserves a selfie booth at the party! -
Staff and Christmas parties are $450.
We drop off before the party starts and pick up after last call. Fair Warning Drink and Selfie Responsibly.REMEMBER You have to go to work with these people tomorrow!

We offer a discounted rate of $375 for charity events.
We appreciate the hard work that goes into supporting local charities. We also give away one free charity event per month!
Reach out early and ask if we've awarded the free event for the month your event is happening. -
We've got two options for out-of-town events.
Option One is our self-serve pickup someone attending the event picks up Instabooth from our studio, brings it to the venue, and sets it up using our instruction videos (it's super easy). You tear down and return it within 48 hours.
Option two is we handle everything Delivery, setup, and teardown — for an added travel and downtime fee. It usually comes out to around $1,000, but reach out and we can discuss your specific location and needs.

The Start Screen and Overlay are your Custom Digital Graphics. The start screen is what guests see on Instabooth's screen when they walk up to it. They tap to start, snap a selfie, and then the overlay gets layered onto the photo.
The backdrop is a separate thing entirely. It's a physical 8ft x 8ft fabric background that goes behind where guests stand. We have 30+ options you can browse at

Graphics are custom-designed elements created specifically for your event. This includes a personalized start screen on the booth and a custom overlay applied to each photo. We tailor everything to match your theme, colours, and overall event style.

Every event gets Custom Graphics at NO EXTRA COST.
We ask for an invitation (digital is best) or the theme of your event and build from there. If you have the digital working file of the invitation, that's ideal because we can break it apart and rebuild the graphics exactly how we want. Otherwise, we create something from scratch to match your style. -
Yes! We can set the filter to black and white in the preset settings, and we often pair it with minimalistic graphics for a really clean look. We've got some examples we can share — just hit the Book Now button and tell us about your event.

We've chosen to be 100% digital to keep things simple and cost-effective for our clients.
Photos are delivered instantly via text, email, QR code, or AirDrop. Guests love the immediate access and with no limits, everyone can get their photos without worrying about running out of prints or wasting them.

No, We made the deliberate decision not to offer a 360 booth.
We've built a very specific workflow and event experience that lets us run completely unmanned events with minimal risk of hiccups like printer errors or mechanical malfunctions. What we do offer is a sleek selfie station with beautiful lighting, stunning custom graphics, quick instant sharing, and tons of laughs with no awkward teenager running the booth and making small talk while you're trying to act silly with your friends.
